Narwool privacy policy

In short: Narwool collects no personal data. No accounts, ads, or tracking. Your projects stay on your device and in your private iCloud.
What Narwool collects
Narwool doesn’t collect personal data, and we (Programmatic Whales, the developer) never receive your projects.
- No accounts: You never sign up or sign in.
- No ads or tracking: Narwool has no advertising or tracking code.
- No servers of ours: Narwool doesn’t talk to any server we run.
Where your projects are stored
Your projects stay on your iPhone. That includes all data you track for your project or anything you upload as part of the Premium tier.
If iCloud is enabled for Narwool, your projects are also stored in your private iCloud database so they sync across your devices. That database belongs to your Apple Account. Apple stores it under its iCloud terms and privacy policy, and we have no access to it. Turn iCloud off for Narwool and your projects stay on the device only.
If you count from your Apple Watch, your counts sync between your watch and your iPhone.
Purchases
Narwool Premium is sold through the App Store, as a yearly subscription or a lifetime unlock, and both include Family Sharing. Apple handles the payment, and the app interfaces with Apple to verify access. We never see or collect your personal details as part of unlocking Premium. Apple sends developers sales totals, not who bought what.
Crash reports
If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and diagnostics. You can turn this off there at any time.
Deleting your data
Delete a project in Narwool and it’s gone from your device, and from your iCloud too if iCloud is enabled. Deleting the app removes the projects stored on that device. To remove Narwool’s iCloud data, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Narwool.
Who we are
Narwool is made by Programmatic Whales, a one-person studio. “We” and “us” in this policy mean Programmatic Whales. We commit to never harvesting your data or selling ads, and we don’t sell, rent, or share personal information.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy before any change and notify users ahead of any changes to how we handle or collect data. The date at the top shows the effective date of the current policy.
